After over five centuries of art  and  tradition  in firearms production in Gardone Val Trompia, ZANARDINI ARMS  which was established in 1946   already since that time  gave the peculiar mark that today has made it famous in the sector of rifled barrels guns as well  on the pages of the  most prestigious magazines all over the world, by winning the 1971 EXHIBITION'S FIRST PRIZE FOR QUALITY AND ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY.Althoug it is always researching better solutions and having   realized technically perfect firearms, Zanardini arms will always proudly  stay a craftsman firm. For the construction of his guns, mister Piero Zanardini   makes use of the best steel.  Barrels: Böhler rasant and Chrome- Vanadium steel.The rifled barrels are cold-hammered to ensure resistance and a high shooting precision. Frames:those of our guns are made of special trialloyed steel ( Nikel-Chrome) and are subjected to a cementation  heat-treatment that gives a very high resistance.
Stock: Ours are in selected walnut with bavarian style cheek-piece, oil finished, and rubber or horn heel-plate. On request they can be supplied in american or english style. Engravings: the artistic value of the evocative << hunting scenes>> can be personalized on customer's request. After a long experience in gun's construction, our models have been projected with the newest devising, that are unique. The barrels are inseted into the frame, so that it is possible to exaust the pressures towards the center of gravity of the barrels, obtening best performances in the shooting precision.
Ribs: prism form 1 mm.
Adjustable sight: sight with pearl form.
Locking system: type Anson or Holland & Holland.
Action with coil spring, normal extractor.
All our guns, besides beeing proved at the National Italian House of Proof, are also tested in the Zanardini's private shooting range, ensuring a pattern of 3 cm to 100 meters. The target pattern is supplied to the customer to confirm Zanardini arms' reliability. All our guns are preset for the mounting of pivot scopes with double wheel lock, that is patented.
